2 onions, 300g of carrots and a splash of worcestshire sauce are added to a handful of chopeed parsley.
1lb of mushrroms (approx 25) are lightly cooked for 15 minutes in 3 tablesppons of butter. Stems are trimmed but not removed.
Half teaspoon of sea salt and quarter teaspoon of freshly ground pepper are tossed into the pan with 2 cloves of garlic and fresh thyme leaves.
8oz sirloin steak is cooked with 25g of unsalted butter and 350ml of red wine.
Chopped shallots and fresh thyme with redcurrant jelly and grainy mustard ard added to enhance the flavour.
Served with new potaotes and garden peas.
