These Terms of Use and License Agreement (“Terms”) govern your use of Chefy Recipe Manager (“Chefy”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Additional rules or guidelines may apply to certain features and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you access the Services through an Apple-branded device, your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”), available at:

The Apple EULA is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA with respect to iOS usage, the Apple EULA will control.
For users accessing the Services on Android or other platforms, these Terms constitute the entire license and agreement governing use of the Services.
You must be legally an adult under your local law to use Chefy independently. Minors may only use Chefy under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Automated account creation is not permitted. One individual may not maintain multiple accounts without our approval.
You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to users or the Services.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

“User Content” includes recipes, images, notes, and other content you upload or import. You are solely responsible for your User Content and any legal consequences arising from it.
We are not obligated to host, store, or back up User Content and may remove it at any time.
You grant Chefy a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt, and process User Content as necessary to operate, improve, and promote the Services. Where permitted by law, you waive moral rights.
You must not upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.

The Services may link to third-party sites or services. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
You are solely responsible for interactions with other users.
Recipes are user-generated and provided for general informational purposes only. We do not verify accuracy, ingredients, or safety.
You are responsible for food safety, allergies, and verifying instructions with reliable sources.
Chefy may offer paid features or subscriptions. Pricing and renewal terms are disclosed at purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through the applicable platform (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play) before renewal.
Purchases are governed by the terms of the platform through which they are made, and you are responsible for managing subscriptions via that platform.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHEFY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED USD $50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chefy and its affiliates from claims arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your User Content.
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or pose risk to others or the Services.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted or communicated through the Services. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, unless local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of business changes.
